Happy 2015! I have taken a very long break from blogging, and along with many other goals I made for the year, I am going to start it up again! Many people will agree that if you have goals and keep them a secret, it is much harder to achieve those goals, so I am going to put them out here for the world to see! Once it’s on the internet you know you can’t take it back!
I believe in dreaming big, so I set big goals in 2015! Firstly, as I mentioned above, I plan to start blogging again. I enjoy doing it and it is always a good thing to research and write about the market. I am committing myself to 2 posts a month, some may be short and sweet, but I will write them! I am going to keep them all focused on current market trends or hot real estate topics. There will be some good information on here so be sure to subscribe!
The next goal is to travel more. I want to take 2 big trips this year. Luckily for me, I already have the first one planned and paid for! The second trip I would like to take is to go and visit my sister in England. She just had a new baby and I am more than excited to go and meet her!
Thirdly, I am going to sell 42 homes this year. This is a tall order for me. If I count the clients I referred out, which I do, I sold 16 homes last year. Because this is such a big change for me and its hard to track something over 12 months, I need to break this down into more manageable chunks. I need to sell 3.5 homes a month, which translates to making about 20 new client meetings a month. In order for me to hit this goal, I am going to spend more time being in the office. I am much more productive in my work office than in my home office. The best part about this goal, is I am giving myself a little reward for every 12 I sell, the final reward being a much coveted pair of Louboutins!
Goal 4 is to save $30,000 this year. For this to happen, I need to hit the goal above. My husband is a full-time student so we are a one income household. We want to start a family next year, and for me to take a couple of months off, we need to have a big enough net that I wont be constantly stressing out about it.
Lastly, I plan to get into better shape. This is one of those goals everyone sets and no one follows. I started a paleo diet a couple of months ago and I’m already feeling much healthier. Now I just need to start exercising so I can work on becoming stronger. This is something both my husband and I will slowly be working towards but I know if we stay focused, we can do it!
Well, that is all of the major goals I have set for myself this year. They don’t mean anything without any accountability, so I am counting on all of you to keep me on track! Share any goals that you have for yourself this year and, as always, if you know anyone looking to buy a house, I would love to help them!
