Northwest Portland stretches from the urban Pearl District and Nob Hill up through the hills to the planned communities of Forest Heights and Bethany.
The Pearl is where you will find most of the high-rise luxury condos in Portland. You can also find many top rated restaurants, art galleries, and local boutiques. The lower floors of the condos are primarily for commercial businesses which makes for great shopping. It is also home to the world famous Powell’s book store!
Nob Hill was once considered the outskirts of town.  This area was developed by many affluent families in the 1900s and is home to some of Portland’s most beautiful and historic homes.
NW 23rd is one of the top destinations for visitors to the area for both food and shopping. Forest Park, one of the largest urban forest reserves in the country, is just steps away when you want to get out of the city without actually leaving the city.
Forest Heights is situated in the hills and offers stunning views of the Valley. Just minutes from the city, this is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Portland. There is a mix of both townhomes and single family homes making this community accessible to almost anyone who wants to live here.
Bethany is one of the newer developments to come to Portland. Many of the area’s homes were built in the 90’s but there are also new developments going up every year. The biggest benefit to this area of Northwest Portland is it’s proximity to large employers like Nike and Intel.
