You are here: Home / Southwest Portland

Southwest Portland

Southwest Portland is home to some of the areas most expensive real estate. Situated in the rolling hills and perched above the city, southwest Portland truly has a feel unlike any other. Whether you are looking for an estate in Portland Heights or Dunthorpe, a bungalow in Garden Home or Multnomah Village, or anything in between, you are likely to find it here!

Neighborhoods

Portland Heights is easily Portland’s most coveted neighborhood. This also means it’s the most expensive zip code. Perched above downtown Portland, these homes have million dollar views of mountains, the river and the city.

Healy Heights is another coveted Portland neighborhood with historic homes. Healy Heights has easy access to OHSU and council crest park but most of these homes won’t feature views.

Multnomah is one fo the largest neighborhoods in SW Portland. It includes the fabulous Multnomah Village, the huge Gabriel Park, and miles of tree lined streets. You can find a wide variety of homes here from new construction all the way down to 1900’s bungalows.

Garden Home is a neighborhood as cute as it sounds. The whole area is very lush and less hilly that many of it’s SW Portland neighbors. The most exciting feature of this neighborhood is the Fanno Creek Trail, a beautiful trail with miles of hiking and biking paths that lead to the Tualatin River.

Bridlemile, Hayhurst, and Maplewood are all very similar and feature park like settings. You can find lots of midcentury homes in these areas many of which will have soft rolling hills as yards.

Dunthorpe is an unincorporated community between downtown Portland and Lake Oswego. Many of these multimillion dollar homes were designed by famous architects and have sprawling estates. This is a very tight knit community and is home to many famous athletes.
