Eastern Suburbs

There are many wonderful towns to the east of Portland. Whether you are looking for an urban oasis or a country get away, one of these amazing suburbs is just what you need.

Gresham

Gresham is the fourth largest city in Oregon and has many amazing aspects.  Running into Portland at approximately 162nd avenue there are both urban and rural areas to Gresham.  The biggest draw for most of Gresham is its draw to both Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge.  You will lasso find a vibrant town center and a bounty of Public green spaces…Read More

Troutdale

If you continue past Gresham towards the Columbia River Gorge you will find the quaint town of Troutdale.  This town is full of antique stores, fishing spots, swimming holes, and beautiful state parks.  If you want to be away from the city while still having quick freeway access to downtown, you are looking in the right area!

Oregon City

Running along the Willamette River next to Willamette Falls, there are views from almost everywhere in this town.  This once quiet town has been undergoing some amazing changes recently. There are many new restaurants and breweries opening up downtown, and the industrial park is being planned into an epic waterfront park for all of the public to enjoy.

Happy Valley

Happy Valley has been one of the fastest growing cities in Oregon for many years.  Situated between Mt. Scott and Southeast Portland, these hills and valleys have been the perfect place for builders to go in and develop.  Now home to primarily new construction builds, this is a great community for someone looking for views and low maintenance homes.

Milwaukie

This former mill town once gave Portland a run for its money in the shipping business. Now this friendly community is known for its shopping, wine bars and tap rooms.  The recently expanded max line makes this town a dream for commuters into Portland. You will also find some lovely waterfront parks that allow for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding in the Willamette.

Sandy

Nestled at the foothills of Mount Hood, Sandy, Oregon, is a charming city that combines small-town appeal with easy access to outdoor adventures. Sandy offers breathtaking views and serves as a perfect base for exploring the nearby mountain’s skiing and hiking options. The city itself, with a welcoming downtown area, features local shops, cafes, and a community-focused atmosphere. …Read More

Estacada

Estacada, a scenic city located along the Clackamas River, is celebrated for its natural beauty and strong sense of community. It’s a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering ample opportunities for fishing, hiking, and kayaking. Estacada’s vibrant arts scene is evident through numerous murals and public artworks, and the city takes pride in its local cultural events, including the annual Summer Celebration street fair.
